The Grants will also help to generate high quality outputs to provide the required track record to win external grants. These awards are intended to provide short-term development support restricted to research projects.
The Foundation grants the awards (up to a maximum value of $10,000) on the basis of professional and research excellence of applicants, their nominated project and the relevance of the application to improving health outcomes for the Gold Coast Health Service District. Successful applicants will be expected to submit a 1 page research summary to the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation within 60 days of completing the project.
Applications are open from 1 May 2012 until 30 June 2012. Only completed applications received by close of business on 2 July 2012 that meet eligibility requirements will be considered for assessment. Late applications will only be considered in special circumstances and by prior arrangement.
